May 3, 2007	Dudley Moore got Bo Derek and he got a 10 but we got Patricia and Michelle the owners of Villas Los Angeles and we go a 10+++. After 27 years of going to Manzanillo and Audiencia for 2 months every year we had stayed at many places. But when we found Los Angeles we hit the jackpot. As we sit and watch the beautiful sunsets from our balcony we compliment each other on how lucky and smart we were to find a whole lot of Paradise in one spot. Never boring, always good company to be enjoyed if you desire. Yet spacious enough to always find a place of beauty to just relax and meditate or read. The swimming pool is wonderful and the water just right for enjoying. When we fly back to the states it is with our batteries fully charged, and count the days till we can return. The staff is so friendly and always helpful they become dear friends and you leave them with sadness. As we are in our platinum years the extra love and caring that Patricia and Michelle gave us when we needed medical attention was greatly appreciated. - T.&J. Keppel, Tennessee USA
May 3, 2007	My wife and I stayed at Villas Los Angeles for 2 weeks from mid to the end of April 2007. I am not in the habit of writing comments - favorable or unfavorable - about past accommodations but I have to make an exception in this case. This is truly a unique place in every sense of the word. First, the owners, Patricia and Michel Lapointe are wonderful people genuinely interested in the well being of their guests. We had a number of questions before our arrival which were all answered to our fullest satisfaction. While there they went out of their way to help us even with matters not related to our stay. The facilities are very well maintained and this was true not only for our 1 B.R. penthouse with fantastic und unforgettable views but also for other areas of the hotel, such as the swimming pool which is ample and surrounded by flowering trees.Most of all we liked the service. Drinking water is furnished free whenever needed and if anything goes wrong with the stove or other appliances it is fixed promptly. I mention this because in the past we have had other experiences in Mexico with poor and slow service.Villas Los Angeles is centrally located with many restaurants nearby. There are also two big supermarkets in close proximity to the hotel. Manzanillo itself is delightful. The climate is ideal, warm days with low humidity and cool nights. Apr. 13, 2007	I have a travel agent background. I worked in the industry from the mid 80's throughout the 90's. I was able to travel to numerous destinations. I give Villas Los Angeles one of the highest ratings. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The hillside view is breathtaking. The pool area is quiet, yet great for meeting other guests. If you want the beach, getting to the many in the area is very easy. I have to say one of the things I was most impressed by is the owners, "Michel and Patricia" and their staff. Michel and Patricia make it a point to meet each guest personally. The nature of our visit kept us busy, so I was not able to talk with them as much as I would have liked to. But it was obvious that all the guests that we saw during our stay felt the same way about Michel, Patricia and the staff. I don't think I've ever met a more friendly, helpful and personable group in any of my travels. Villas Los Angeles has what it takes for success. Thank you to ALL. Mar. 16, 2007	We had stopped in for a couple of days and stayed for 2 1/2 weeks. Michel & Patricia are fantastic. The atmosphere within the complex between the other guests, employees and the owners is unfound anywhere else that we know of. Definately on our radar for 2008, Jan.-Feb. We auto travelled 2 months to various Mexican destinations and can say that the most enjoyable time was spent at the Villas Los Angles. We recommend that this property requires to be highly considered if you are in the Manzanillo area. The 6:00 pm sunset party is a "must" if you like to meet and greet great people. Super clean rooms, consistent with services and staff is helpful and courteous. Excellent and clean pool facilities with available BBQ for single or party time meals. Mar. 14, 2007	This hotel was is incredible! It is kept immaculately clean; both the grounds, rooms and pool area. The views of the bay and the city are breathtaking. The owners, Patricia and Michel, are extremely personable and you can feel they want to ensure that your stay there is pleasant and memorable. The manager, Socorro, and the entire staff never fail to greet you with a smile. From recommending sites to visit as well as providing directions and/or suggestions for things to do, at Hotel Villas Los Angeles you get as much attention as you need in a tourist city that still retains the true flavor of Mexico. The photos on the site lured us, but they hardly do justice to how nice this place is! Our 1-bedroom villa was spacious and well-appointed, and a good value. The pool and surrounding patio area might make you forget to go to the beach. Stunning views of the bays and the city from our terrace and the pool area. The rooms and grounds were very well-maintained, staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Owners and some staff also speak English. Apr. 12, 2006	We had a relaxing and refreshing holiday at Villas Los Angeles. Michelle and Patricia, together with the rest of the staff were welcoming and very helpful. The accommodation was luxurious yet reasonable in price. The views were spectacular. The other guests were warm and friendly. Apr. 4, 2006	My new wife and I just returned from 4 wonderful nights at the Villas. This is without a doubt, the most memorable place I've ever stayed. The views are UNBELIEVABLE, the villas are well maintained and very comfortable, and you are very close to everything. The gardens were beautiful and Patricia couldn't have been more helpful. Feb. 20, 2006	Fuimos a Manzanillo durante una semana toda la familia y fue una de las mejores que hemos tenido gracias a todas las atenciones y comodidades que nos proporcionaron en el hotel. Jan. 16, 2006	We just stayed at the Villas for the second time and absolutely without a doubt there is nowhere else we would stay in Manzanillo. The accomodations are so well kept with perfect maintenance and you always feel as if everything is brand new. The view is the best in Manzanillo without a doubt and we were treated with the best kindness and the maid service was the best ever. Jan. 5, 2006	Our second time staying at the Villas, this time for 24 days. The first time we stayed we thought the world of the Villas and our hosts Patricia and Michel, the second time was better - way to go guys! The grounds, location and amenities as well as the service will truly make you feel welcome at your Home away from Home. The continuous effort to maintain the beauty of the Villas shows through the cleanliness and organization of the entire facility. The many beautiful and various plants attract many different birds and butterflies as well as the occasional lizard. The best compliment one could give in our minds is that not only are the Villas Los Angeles located correctly, presented well and indeed a very restful place, but that we will return for a third time. July 28, 2005	We spent 5 beautiful days in Manzanillo and stayed at the Villa Los Angeles Hotel during our entire during April of 2005. Michel and Patricia are "THE BEST" hosts that I've had during any vacation of my entire life and the villas were absolutely superb! Very spacious, clean, bright, and near the beach (and everything else for that matter)! We did not want to leave! Feb. 14, 2005	We spent two wonderful weeks at the Villas Los Angeles. The rooms are wonderful, the views spectacular and the hosts pleasant, fun and ever so helpful. The pool area is as lovely as the pictures you view from the internet....flowers..flowers...and oh the view!!!! I promise you will NOT be disappointed in anyway. The location is excellent...a 10 minute walk to a wonderful safe cove beach...where you can rent water equipment..or sit under the umbrella enjoying the water and SUN!!!It is a short 15 minute walk to the most wonderful restaurant....that has great food, drinks at such an incredible price..I went there at least 5 times!!! You can take a taxi for $3...down the hill....but we mostly walked and sometimes took the taxi back up....when we were too tired or hot! The bus...which is at the bottom of the hill costs 5 pesos....to almost anyplace you will want to go....the taxi would cost between$3-$7 for the same distance. I loved my time in Manzanillo.....and you will love Villas Los Angeles! - B., Beaverton, OR
Jan. 16, 2005	We had a wonderful ten days in Manzanillo over the Christmas holidays. On New Year's Eve, we watched from our perch high on the cliffs at Villas Los Angeles while fireworks exploded around town below. I would echo all the remarks people have already made and agree that the villas are just as beautiful and clean as they appear on the website. The accommodations were outstanding, the views incredible, the hosts and other guests were friendly and helpful. We had a healthy, happy, safe and relaxing stay. My son and I became certified scuba divers thanks to the excellent "Underworld Scuba Shop"(a dream come true for me) while my husband enjoyed some good fishing trips. Jan. 14, 2005	Our stay was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. The Villas are just the rights size if you want a nice quite get away, the pool is lovely with great sun. The Villas are well appionted with everything to make your stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Patricia and Michelle went the extra mile to make our stay wonderfull. The incredible sunsets are amazing and can be seen form the comfort of balaconies of Penthouses and the North Building. Villas Los Angeles is on my list of return locations. A very good value. Dec. 31, 2004	We have just returned from eleven delightful days at Villas Los Angeles. Our stay was not long enough and we are already planning to return for Christmas 2005. Our one bedroom unit was spacious, comfortable, and totally inviting. The view from our balcony was breathtaking--we spent many hours there enjoying the warm breezes with a good book. Having a complete kitchen was wonderful. It allowed us to have lazy mornings on the balcony sipping coffee while reading and later to create delicious lunches from fresh fruits and seafood. Then we could "splurge" on an excellent dinner out. The pool area set amid lushly blooming plants is just as lovely and immaculate as it appears on the web site. Patricia and Michel warmly welcomed us and assisted us in many ways. Michel even delivered us to our restaurant on Christmas Eve because taxis were scarce that night! Dec. 21, 2004	We spent Thanksgiving holidays and have spent time in Manzanillo for the last 15 years. Great escape at the Villas. Had a tour of many rooms -no matter which you choose, you can't go wrong. Beautiful views and clean, modern rooms. Plus, bar-b-que area and landscaping/pool is relaxing as well as great place to socialize and watch incredible sunsets. Owners speak English and can help with typical "tourista" questions. Dec. 20, 2004	The one week stayed at the Villa overlooking the east side isn't certainly enough! The view is indeed exhilarating and the hike up the hill to where the villas are located is always a good workout especially after a good meal. The room is wonderful and the bathroom (especially the shower) is quite spacious and clean. The pool side is also luscious with lots of trees and beautiful landscape. I love Manzanillo - lots of trees everywhere. I had tears when I said my goodbyes but I shall definitely go back soon for at least two weeks. Sept. 25, 2004	Just returned from Manzanillo and a stay at Villas Los Angeles. We had one of the penthouses with an incredible balcony, beautiful Mexican furniture, full kitchen, spacious bath.
